The
Lompoc Valley Historical Society was founded on September
5, 1964. The Historical Society is located in the Fabing-McKay-Spanne
House. The Victorian house was bought by the Historical Society
in 1968. More information on the house and the families that

There
are four museum buildings plus the Victorian home. A gallery
on the lower floor of the Lompoc Museum is also maintained
by the Society.
The
Lompoc Valley Historical Society is a nonprofit corporation.
All staff are volunteers so the Historical Society depends
on of course volunteers, donations, membership dues, gifts
and other forms of support. They receive no funding from any
City, County or Federal agencies. Annual membership dues are
as follows: Individual $15, Family $25, Life Membership per
person $100.
