Fabing
- McKay - Spanne House
| Information
& History |
|
Built
in 1875 by Henry Fabing, this was the first two-story home
in Lompoc. It's said that he, Henry Fabing, had a bit more
faith in the city than others; this was shown by his commitment
to build the house while others were living in small shanty's,
uncertain about Lompoc's future. The house was owned and lived
in by only three families. The Victorian house is now home
to the Lompoc Valley Historical Society.
On
this page you'll find a brief history of each family, dates
of birth, dates of death, years which they owned the house
and other tidbits of information. For more detailed information
on the history of the house or families please contact the
Lompoc Valley Historical Society, contact info. is listed
